Welcome to our cozy corner of baked goods and freshly milled flour in Carlsbad, California where each wholesome organic sourdough loaf is hand crafted with love and sprinkled with a dash of delight.
Freshly stone‑milled ancient grains are a superfood packed with essential nutrients our bodies need.
But if you are eating sourdough that is not FRESHLY milled then you are eating bread that will stick to your butt!!!
Whole wheat sourdough bread can be enjoyed daily with no guilt when it is made with freshly stoned milled ancients grains, filtered water, and a wee bit of sea salt.
We sell home baked goods and freshly milled flour by the pound.
Baking is done once a week. You can pick up baked goods on Sundays from noon to 5:30 p.m. near Carlsbad High School. The deadline to order for Sunday is noon on the Thursday before.

Ingredients: Freshly stone milled (FSM) organic einkorn whole wheat flour, organic rye whole wheat, filtered water, and sea salt.
Not all sourdough is the same. If the flour isn't freshly milled, most nutrients disappear within 3–5 days, leaving mostly starch that spikes blood sugar. Freshly milled flour keeps the bran and germ, which slow glucose rise. A 36–72 hour cold bulk fermentation reduces it further, leaving a nutrient-dense loaf with insoluble fiber and healthy fats.

All our einkorn and rye grain are grown without herbicides, pesticides, or synthetic fertilizers. Our farmers never use Roundup, fulvic acid, 2,4‑D, or any other chemicals. They also test our einkornand rye berries to confirm they contain no glyphosate.
Each loaf is made from freshly milled flour and hand-shaped by me, your local miller. I careful stretch-and-folds and a long, cold bulk fermentation create a perfect sourdough. Hearty and rich in minerals, vitamins, and insoluble fiber, this low-glycemic superfood is a great way to start or end the day.
